The first week of the Beta Party has come to an end – the contest was hugely competative and a great round of updates were made.
Thanks to all the feedback we’ve gotten, a whole bunch of bugs were discovered and fixed – more than we can remember to list!
Features
- Removed the “add welcome dm” button on the tweet box modal window.
- Renovated the welcome message modal window to better display the currently-set welcome messages, the description of how to use them, and the ability to add more – all from the same modal window.
- Removed the latest tweet from twuds in the twud columns, and replaced it with a readout of how long ago since you followed them, and a reason for why EverTweet suggests you to unfollow.
- Integrated unique affiliate links into all share buttons throughout the EverTweet website when logged in, giving maximum exposure and likelihood to gather invites and referrals for all.
- Updated the bug report modal window to include operating system and browser to aid in fixing bugs and resolving individual support concerns.
Bug Fixes
- The twitter profile modal is now movable and can be closed / minimized correctly in the top right corner.
- Twuds will now accurately show if they aren’t following you back, and haven’t done so within 3 days. If you followed them outside of EverTweet, an accurate time frame isn’t available.
- Fixed a major column error that was causing browsers to crash after adding 2-3 columns.
- Solved a column-height logic issue causing unneeded processing power and creating situational column errors.
- Fixed an issue causing columns made in separate tabs to effect another tag’s columns.
- Fixed the prospect column type from breaking future column javascript.
- Solved a character encoding issue that created large red error messages atop various columns.
- Fixed the login / signup routine to properly be routed through the correct channels.
- Properly adjusted the twud column to filter out previously skipped twuds from the list of users.
- Forced the max number of recent events shown at one time to be 10, eliminating the massive 20-item high list of actions from blocking part of the screen.
- Fixed the add account routine to smoothly attach a Twitter account to a particular user’s EverTweet account. Included error and success messages to indicate how the account attachment procedure performed.
